Froggy

The drawings are raw as hell, but i've been mainly concentrating on whether or not the most basic elements are reading clearly.

Reach....

Practice comps

Here a few random scenes i sketched out. Not sure if they make any sense perspective wise, but i've been trying to make an effort to go beyond my usual, "draw one figure floating on the paper" routine.

Some digital sketches...

Here's a couple of sketches i did on the IPAD via the sketchbook pro app. The stylus i'm using is a big foam q-tip so it takes a bit getting used to.

Mileeeeena

Here's some fan art sketches i did of Mileena, a character from the Mortal Kombat videogames.

Update?

Well, so much for my, "keep my blog updated" new year's resolution i had. Just so i don't have to see that styrofoam head from the last post anymore, here's a quick sketch.

Styrofoam head!

Stumbled upon this while my fiancee shopped at a local beauty supply store. I thought it would be a great reference for lighting/drawing the human head so i bought it. For only four dollars you too can own your very own styrofoam head. Get it today!
